I was laughing and crying (probably ugly crying 😂), but so surprised and so happy!

This happened July 24, 2018. We had just gotten back from New Orleans.
Now it’s been a month since getting engaged and I’m still in shock.
I can’t believe how fast time has gone by.
Get ready, I’m about to share with you all of the wedding planning I’ve done so far and what else is to come.

 

The date has been set.
November 9th, 2019!

My dream since I was a child, was to get married in Corpus Christi, at the Water Gardens.
When I called the city to find out the availability and cost of deposit for the venue, I was told it had been damaged by Hurricane Harvey last year.

I was crushed and totally heart broken.
Seems a little over dramatic, I’m sure, but being from Corpus Christi and having dreamt of the perfect wedding at the perfect spot, I was a little more than unsure about where to get married at.

My sister suggested I use a website called, TheKnot.com.
It helps you keep track of the invites, the venue, the colors, and even a budget!
I was able to find a new venue for both the ceremony and the reception.

I honestly didn’t think I’d find a venue so soon, but I’m glad I did.
It’s definitely taken a lot of stress off my mind.

Our venue location is going to be at Multiplicity in Katy, Texas.
This place is perfect for the amount of guest that we have and perfect because there’s space for both the ceremony and the reception.

Now I just got in my wedding shoes… even though I don’t have my dress yet.
When I saw these, I was instantly in love with them.

These Vince Camuto Pumps are to die for.
It was by chance that I saw this DSW ad while I was on social media, and instantly clicked the link.
These also come in an “Off-White,” but they didn’t have them in my size. Personally, I’m in love with these black ones.
It’s a little different & untraditional, like me!🤪
I think I fell for these because they gave me that Bella Swan feel, from the “Breaking Dawn” movie.
